About Praxis Navigator
What is Praxis Navigator?
Praxis Navigator is a security behavior measurement platform. It analyzes signals from your Microsoft 365 environment to measure, document, and track how security behavior changes over time. It is a measurement tool — it does not deliver training, awareness campaigns, or other interventions. Learn more at praxisnavigator.io/product.
Does Praxis Navigator provide security awareness training or run campaigns?
No. Praxis Navigator only measures. It does not deliver training, run awareness or phishing-simulation campaigns, or apply interventions of any kind. It is the measurement layer that shows whether the programs you run elsewhere actually change behavior over time.
How is it different from a security awareness training (SAT) platform?
Security awareness training platforms measure activity — things like course completions and phishing click rates. Praxis Navigator measures actual behavior by analyzing Microsoft 365 data, so you can see whether behavior is changing over time, independent of any single training tool.
What we measure
What does Praxis Navigator measure?
At a high level, behavioral signals drawn from Microsoft 365 — across areas such as email security practices, file-sharing behavior, identity and account hygiene, and security-posture coverage. These raw signals roll up into indicators and composites. The full, documented list lives in the Analytics knowledge base.
Why measure these behaviors?
Because measuring the same signals consistently over time shows whether security behavior is improving, where risk concentrates, and whether the changes you make have an effect — all without running training or interventions. Praxis Navigator measures, documents, and tracks change; it does not act on your users.
Where can I see exactly what each metric means?
The Analytics knowledge base documents every indicator, composite, and raw signal — including what each one can and cannot tell you. You can also browse the signal glossary.
Setup & trial
How long does it take to set up?
Setup is quick and self-service through the Microsoft Marketplace — connect your Microsoft 365 environment, and your behavioral data, including historic trends, becomes available shortly after. A step-by-step Getting Started guide is coming to this knowledge base.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — Praxis Navigator offers a free trial with full Core features that you can deploy directly from the Microsoft Marketplace. See praxisnavigator.io/start-now for current trial terms and to get started.
Data, privacy & security
What data does Praxis Navigator access?
Praxis Navigator connects to Microsoft 365 through the Microsoft Graph API and analyzes behavioral metadata — signals such as email security practices, file-sharing behavior, identity and account hygiene, and security posture. It requests the minimum access it needs, read-only wherever Microsoft supports it. Its analytics are built from behavioral metadata, not from the content of your emails or files; where Microsoft's responses happen to include content or personal data, that is not used in the analytics. For the exact Graph permissions and how data is handled, see the Trust Center: permissions and data handling.
Is our data secure and privacy-compliant?
Security, data handling, compliance, and subprocessor details are maintained on our Trust Center — the current source of truth — rather than duplicated here.
